RESURFACE

A contemplation of Consciousness

Resurface was a culmination of original photographs and snippets of phrase, lyrics and messages that I had collected.

The book has no obvious narrative or linear structure - it’s poetic nature is designed to reflect the ephemermal, ethereal nature of human experience.

Sometimes boldly, and sometimes quietly, Resurface celebrates ideas, contemplations and, tentatively, investigates the assimilation of thought after a sustained meditation practice.

As we “resurface” from a meditative space, a new point of view is formed and this project invites an investigation into my own personal experience of that phenomenon.
